There's a lot of buzz surrounding the New England Patriots right now. And for once, it has absolutely nothing to do with Tim Tebow.

Earlier today, police searched the home of Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez in North Attleboro, Mass. after a 27-year-old man who is being called an "associate" of Hernandez was found murdered about a mile from the player's home. Hernandez has not been named a suspect in the man's murder, but police are investigating what he may know about the man's death. As of now, they've scoured his home, talked to two other men who were at Hernandez's house during the search, and taken a look at a rental car connected to Hernandez that was found near the scene of the crime.

Again, Hernandez has not been charged with anything at this point. But police are interested in interviewing him extensively sometime in the next day or so. Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
