As of right now, texting while driving is not illegal in Arizona. But it's obviously frowned upon. It's frowned upon even more when you're a motorcycle cop who is supposed to be patrolling the streets, instead of driving around on them and texting. Yet, that's exactly what this Tempe, Ariz. cop got caught doing recently.

As you'll see in the clip above, a concerned citizen watched the cop drive for several miles—yes, several miles—while steering his patrol bike with one hand and texting with the other. He then snapped a photo of the officer and sent it to the local police department. The officer was disciplined for his actions, and the police department was forced to send out a statement apologizing for his actions.

SMH. What could have possibly been so damn important?
