You know that moment when people are just arguing, possibly even your parents, and you're just sitting there all quiet as they put everything all out on the table right before your eyes? Yeah, quite vivid, we know, but that's the way we felt when Doc Rivers and Bill Simmons took jabs at one another right in the middle of the 2013 NBA Draft telecast.
All we could do is sit there as Doc did that trick where you call someone an idiot without actually calling someone an idiot. Then, they actually gave loyal Celtics fan Simmons a chance at a rebuttal and didn't "lose the signal," like ESPN did when Bill started talking about The Decision. All in all, it was just awkward TV.
