Although they got booted in the first round, the Denver Nuggets did have a pretty good season; their 57 win total was the franchise's highest since joining the NBA. But in a decision that made sense to very few, Denver decided to part ways with NBA Coach of the Year George Karl.

Andre Iguodala's upcoming free agency will make it even harder for Denver to have another solid season next year. He's planning to opt-out of his contract.

Iguodala has shown in the past that he likes being involved with Denver's organization and Denver CEO Josh Kroenke's said bringing him back is a priority, so we'll see how this plays out. It probably won't be as dramatic as the ongoing Chris Paul and Dwight Howard sagas, though.
