He's already apologized for it.

A lot of people have been wondering just how long the "feud" that started between Sergio Garcia and Tiger Woods at The Players Championship two weeks ago was going to last. Today, it ended abruptly and with a whole lot of controversy surrounding it. Garcia was asked if he would consider inviting Tiger out for dinner at the U.S. Open next month during the European Tour Players' Awards dinner. And he provided this answer.

"We'll have him round every night," he said. "We will serve fried chicken."

Really, dude? Reeeeeeeally?

Garcia apologized almost immediately saying, "I apologize for any offense that may have been caused by my comment on stage during the European Tour Players' Awards dinner. I answered a question that was clearly made towards me as a joke with a silly remark, but in no way was the comment meant in a racist manner."

You can now officially dead the "beef" between Sergio and Tiger. Tiger wins. End of discussion. Tell Garcia to GTFOH.
