Here's a tip: If you're going to meet-up with a woman you met in a chat room, don't leave the car running while you buy your "date" a treat at the local bakery.
On Saturday, a (desperately single?) man in Michigan stopped for breakfast with a woman he had met the night before. According to local reports, the man told police he had initially made contact with the woman in a chat room a few weeks earlier.
When the man stepped inside the bakery, he left his 2007 Chevy Cobalt running...with his hot date sitting in the passenger's seat. After buying a bag of muffins and two coffees, he emerged from the bakery to find that the woman and his car had mysteriously disappeared.
When police arrived on the scene, the man said that the woman had previously informed him that she had just finished serving an 18-month prison term for armed robbery.
Wow.
