Two years ago, Deron Williams and head coach Jerry Sloan went through a messy divorce, which resulted in D-Will leaving the Utah Jazz and heading to the Nets. Now, after their brief separation, it looks like a reunion could be a good possibility. According to ESPN's Mike Mazzeo, Williams said "he’d love to play for Sloan again, and believes he would bring the toughness out of them." Meanwhile, Sloan told CSN Northwest that he's open to the possibility of being the next coach of the Nets and while he hasn't "done the research on their roster," he would "definitely listen if they called.”
When Deron and Sloan played together in Utah, they went 262-174 in five-plus seasons. So, it wouldn't be crazy for Nets general manager Billy King to at least entertain the idea. But, can they coexist if this actually goes down?
