After spending the first half of the 2012-13 NBA season playing overseas in China, former NBA lottery pick Terrence Williams inked a 10-day contract with the Celtics in February. He also signed another contract with the team in March that was scheduled to keep him in Boston through the team's 2013-14 campaign. But Williams' future with the Celts may be in serious doubt after what transpired over the weekend.

Williams was allegedly involved in a domestic violence situation with the mother of his 10-year-old son in Kent, Wa. on Sunday afternoon. According to a police report, Williams arrived at the home of his son's mother in downtown Kent for a scheduled visitation exchange. But shortly after he arrived, Williams and the woman started arguing. And she claims that, during the argument, Williams pulled out a gun and made several threats. Williams left a short time later. But police were able to track him down and place him under arrest late Sunday afternoon.

Kent Police are still investigating the situation. But if Williams was guilty of a crime here, his NBA future could be over. So let's hope that this situation wasn't as bad as it sounds.
