Keith Hernandez is no stranger to saying or doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. Back in 2006, Hernandez said "I won't say that women belong in the kitchen, but they don't belong in the dugout" after seeing the Padres' female team massage therapist Kelly Calabrese. Then there was that time Keith fell asleep in the middle of a game. Today, Hernandez added another embarrassing moment to his lowlight reel when he referred to a broken bat during tonight's Yankees/Mets as "a dead soldier" on Memorial Day. You know, the day we remember all those men and women that died fighting in the United States Armed Forces.

So, an apology should be coming in 3, 2, 1...
