Over the weekend, word got out that Joe Flacco would star in his first film and portray the late Johnny Unitas during the final scenes of the upcoming film, Unitas We Stand. The individual that let the cat out of the bag was Unitas' son Joe, who seemed happy with the decision, given their "Baltimore ties" and the fact that "Joe plays and his demeanor reminds me a lot of my dad." But, not everyone was so overjoyed with the choice.

Unitas' grandson and former Villanova quarterback J.C. went on Facebook to bash the Flacco pick, calling it an "embarrassing choice." The 24-year-old went on to say, "If you want a real movie, hire a real actor," as well as stating, "my grandfather and his legacy deserves only the best, and this is not it." J.C.'s father, Johnny Unitas Jr., added that the choice is a joke, saying Flacco is "a goofball" and if they were to choose a quarterback, they should've went with Peyton Manning because "my father was just like that."

Well, you're never going to make everyone happy. Hopefully Flacco can surprise some people with his acting chops when the film hits theaters.
