Geno Smith's NFL career is off to a rocky start. First, he was forced to sit in the green room last Thursday night during the first round of the NFL Draft without getting selected. Then, he was finally selected by the New York Jets, a team that currently has 27 five quarterbacks on their roster, in the second round. And now, Smith has reportedly fired his agents at Select Sports because of the free fall that he took in the draft. He was apparently under the impression that he "would be and should be" the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. And, because Select Sports didn't help him accomplish that goal, he decided to cut them loose.

He will now have to wait five days until he hires a new agent. We hope that whoever signs him knows what they're getting into. Smith has the potential to be a great NFL player. But, right now, it sounds like he's going to be a headache.
