Mini Quattroporte Spied In Germany

Maserati takes secrecy REALLY seriously.

TeamSpeed has released the first spy shots of the prototype for the new, more compact Maserati, spied testing in Germany. The car is code-named "M157" (or perhaps, Ghibli) and will aim to compete with models like the Porsche Panamera and Mercedes E-Class.

According to Maserati, the engine will be a turbocharged version of Chrysler’s 3.5-litre Pentastar V6 with an output of about 375 to 400 horsepower. Maserati expects to release official images of the M157 in late 2013.
