Earlier in the year we considered some cars under $25k that will get you laid. By 2015, we may be shifting that some down a few pegs. Why? Budget cars are becoming more prevalent and (frankly) more stylish.

The latest automaker to hint at the potential of cheap rides is Volkswagen. As early as 2015, the automaker could have a newly-launched low cost brand on the road. The idea is to compete with Nissan's revamped Datsun (which hopes to dent emerging markets like Indonesia when re-entering the market in 2014), but more importantly push the overall sales units of the German company to the top of the automotive heap. Base price would start at $8,000.
