For the first time ever in the organization's history, two female competitors, Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche, squared off in the main event forUFC 157. In addition, this match was also Rousey's first bout with the Ultimate Fighting Championship since leaving Strikeforce last year. And even though the scenery changed a bit, Ronda improved her record to 7-0 with yet another first-round victory by submission via armbar.
Towards the end of the round, Carmouche fought hard to prevent Rousey from applying her signature armbar, but once she got it locked in, it was only a matter of time. Check out how it all went down in the video below.
