In 2011, the Lakers were about to make the deal of the year when they almost completed a three-way trade that would've sent Lamar Odom to the Hornets, Pau Gasol to the Rockets, and most importantly, Chris Paul. This was all set in stone until the mighty David Stern and Co. vetoed the trade. All of this certainly isn't a distant memory to Kobe Bryant, who made a joke about it on Twitter while his daughter and CP3's son played together on court:
