The Chevrolet SS has been described by the people who work on it as a "four door Corvette" and now we get to see what it looks like and find out what it can do. It's taken long enough.

The LS3 V8 powering the rear wheels of the SS makes 415 horsepower (35 less than the same engine does in the C7 Corvette) and sends the sedan to 60mph in "about five seconds." This is controlled by a six speed paddle shifted automatic, which is a shame, as this sort of car really deserves a manual transmission.

Regardless, this looks to be an amazing sport sedan, and a great sleeper. Most people will just think it's a big, boring family sedan, but it sure isn't.
