About five years after losing their NBA franchise to Oklahoma City, it sounds like Seattle is finally going to get an NBA team again. According to Yahoo! Sports writer Adrian Wojnarowski, the Maloof family—current owners of the Sacramento Kings—is currently in talks to sell the Kings to a group of investors that includes Microsoft chairman Steve Ballmer. That group is then intent on taking the Kings and moving them to Seattle's Key Arena for the start of the 2013-14 NBA season. There are still a few details to work out. But, Wojnarowski writes that the two groups are very close to hammering out a deal that would see the Kings sold for $500 million.

Between this and the Seahawks late-season NFL success, it's a hell of a time to be a sports fan in Seattle right now.
