The Lakers may look like complete crap on the basketball court right now. But, the owners of the team still have at least one thing going for them. Earlier today, Forbes put out a list of the most valuable teams in the NBA. And, the Knicks and Lakers finished at No. 1 ($1.1 billion) and No. 2 ($1 billion) on the list, becoming the first two NBA teams to be valued at more than $1 billion. Rounding out the top five, the Bulls were valued at $800 million, the Celtics at $730 million, and the Mavericks at $685 million.

There were a few surprises on the list, too. For instance, the Thunder landed outside the top ten in the No. 12 slot at $475 million. But, things could always be worse, right? Despite their success in recent years, the Hawks don't appear on the list until No. 28 at $316 million. And, MJ's Bobcats are No. 29 at $315 million, while the Milwaukee Bucks round out the list at No. 30 at $312 million.
