Remember the Audi R8 E-Tron, the canned electric version of the R8 supercar? Well it might not be quite so canned after all. According to product and motorsports communications manager Mark Dahncke "The R8 E-Tron project may still be continued in a very small volume of cars that has yet to be decided. What has been decided is that it will not be executed on a large scale production basis."
So if it is continued, expect them to be gone before you even hear about it, and for an astronomical price.
