In 2008, Lamborghini sold a company record 2,430 vehicles. While 2012 was off the pace, the 2,083 cars sold last year prove an upswing for Italy's famous supercar maker. The Aventador, celebrating its first full year, was bought by 922 people and the Gallardo shifted 1,161 units.
While it is somewhat depressing to think that there are that many people who can just drop crazy cash on a car, it also makes you wonder if rap music had the power to boost Lambos up even as it failed to keep Maybach alive.
