You may not hear about him all that much, but Anthony Davis has been holding it down. Kevin Garnett, of all people, knows it too. KG gave Davis his seal of approval when he was interviewed by a CSNNE.com reporter on Thursday. "That kid is long," he said. "I think he makes me look like a midget, man…He's a freak of nature. The kid's going to be really good. The kid's going to be really good.
Other than the "ayo!" nature of the comment, it's actually refreshing to hear Garnett give props instead of the normal trash talk. It's also a good look for Davis. Don't be surprised if the rookie's game gets sweeter over the years...Honey Nut Cheerios sweet even.
