Andy Reid Is Now on the Verge of Becoming the New Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs

Roughly 24 hours ago, it sounded like Andy Reid was well on his way to becoming the new head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, who fired their old head coach Ken Whisenhunt earlier this week. Now, it sounds like that's no longer the case. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen, Reid is likely now headed to Kansas City to become the new head coach of the Chiefs, who fired Romeo Crennel earlier this week.

"The major issues have been discussed and agreed upon," a source told ESPN.

So, it sounds like the former Eagles coach is going to wind up coaching in Arrowhead Stadium next year. Er, at least for now. But, as we've already seen, that could change at any minute, so stay tuned...
