He was the victim.

Only two days away from the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl, Vikings offensive lineman Matt Kalil was called to replace the Redskins' Trent Williams. Why? No one really knows for sure, but according to the Washington Post, Williams was the victim in a Honolulu nightclub incident that left him with six stitches to the head. According to a statement released by the Honolulu Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:30 A.M. Friday morning, which resulted in Williams getting Tasered and having a bottle cracked over his head.

The NFL released a statement, as well:

"[Williams] was the victim of an assault at a nightclub in central Honolulu early this morning and another individual has been arrested. Due to an injury sustained during the assault, he will not play in the Pro Bowl and has been replaced by Matt Kalil. Trent is still a member of this year's NFC All-Star team and will be on the sidelines this Sunday wearing his jersey. He will be credited with a Pro Bowl appearance and receive a full player's share."

Now, we don't know how it all started, but maybe the aggressor got the Richard Sherman treatment.
