Is Tom Brady a dirty player? Yes, according to Ravens safety Bernard Pollard, who followed up his jarring hit on Stevan Ridley on the field last night by ripping Brady off of it after the Ravens beat the Patriots 28-13 to advance to the Super Bowl.

As you can see in the clip above, the Patriots QB slid on a play at the end of the first half and, in the process, kicked Ed Reed in the shin. Pollard believes Brady did it on purpose in an effort to deliver a cheap shot to his fellow Ravens safety.

"You've got to keep them legs down," Pollard said last night. "You've got to keep the legs down. We all know and understand what's going on there. And, as a quarterback, when you go to slide, we're taught…we can't do anything. When you come sliding, and your leg is up in the air trying to kick somebody, that's bull crap."

We didn't really think much of the play at the time, given the fact that the Patriots were scrambling to get back to the line with the time ticking away in the first half. But, now that we've watched it a few more times, it does look like Brady got a cheap shot in on Reed. Just don't be surprised if the NFL chooses to ignore it.
