2013 Ford Fusion Energi Rated at Combined 100 MPGe

Better than the Prius and the Volt.

The Ford Fusion Energi (plug-in hybrid) took the test, and the results are in: The Environmental Protection Agency has officially been rated at 108 MPGe highway, 92 MPGe city, and 100 MPGe combined. That's good enough to top both the Chevy Volt and the Toyota Prius. The car runs on a Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter four-cylinder that could run 20 miles in all-electric mode on a 7.6-kWh lithium ion battery.
