Problem: When Andrew Gray isn't nearby, his African Grey parrot, Pepper, screams its little head off. Pepper's wings are clipped, and so he cannot fly.
NormalSolution: Get his wings half-clipped, so that he can fly short distances around the home.
Engineer's Solution: Create a small electric car with a perch and a joystick that is operable by a parrot that also features infrared and bump sensors to keep him out of trouble. Also program the vehicle to return to a docking station when the parrot disembarks, so that the little bird-brain can't lose it. This allows the bird to be mobile, and follow Andrew around on his own volition.
