Ordering a meal is a fairly straightforward process: call a restaurant, place your order, and it arrives in a car. Straightforward and boring, right? The folks at Darwin Aerospace are looking to change that with their "Burrito Bomber" airborne system, taking the whole food delivery process to the next level. The process begins at the Bomber web app where you place your order, then using GPS to find your location a robot drone will airdrop your burrito in a custom-made delivery tube, parachuting it down into your grubby paws. An awesome alternative to the standard delivery car, for sure, however due to current FAA regulations, the prototype SkyWalker X8 Flying Wing drone with it's burrito-releasing mechanism is not commercially legal. So, don't expect your favorite restaurant to be adopting the system any time soon.
