The Brooklyn Nets have fired Avery Johnson. Yes, you read that right. He recently won Coach of the Month for November after an 11-4 start, but has gone 3-10 since. Deron Williams had recently said he was still trying to adjust to Johnson's offense while praising Jerry Sloan, the coach he sort of drove to retirement. Those quotes might've been the beginning of the end for Avery in Brooklyn.

He was in the last year of his contract and has gone 60-116 since taking the Nets job in 2010. P.J. Carlesimo has been named interim head coach (Good luck with that!).
