Have you ever wondered what would happen if LeBron James played Michael Jordan in his prime? Well, wonder no more! That matchup takes place every single day…on LeBron's cell phone. Yesterday, LBJ made an appearance at a Sports Illustrated awards celebration and revealed that he has a Photoshopped picture of him and MJ playing against one another set as the background on his cell phone.
"Jordan was my superhero growing up," he said. "He was the guy I feel helped me get to where I am today. As a competitor, who would not want to go against the best? That's like asking [Tom] Brady would he want to go against Montana in the fourth quarter."
Uh, okay. But, LeBron: You do realize that just because you had someone create a photo of you playing MJ doesn't mean you actually…oh, nevermind. It's a nice tribute, and we'll leave it at that.
