Pride? What's that?

The New York Jets had to swallow their pride (or what's left of it) and picked up their old friend Braylon Edwards. And this just a week after Edwards tweeted, “Don’t blame Sanchez. I played there. Blame the idiots calling shots. Mark is a beast and will (prove) it when given a proper chance,” before issuing an apology. Braylon hasn't done much since helping the Jets to two consecutive AFC Championship Games in 2009 and 2010. He has only had 23 catches and a touchdown since leaving New York for the 49ers. Edwards played in ten games with the Seahawks this season and only caught eight passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. With that being said, we don't know if this late season acquisition will help them miraculously make the playoffs.

They need all the help they could get, we guess.
