Terrell Owens wants a job right now. Check that: He needs a job right now. And, if that means a career change? Well, then so be it. But, could you really imagine T.O. playing in the NBA?

It almost happened. According to Blake Griffin, Owens hung around the Clippers practice facility all summer long earlier this year and begged—yes, begged!—the Clippers coaching staff to give him a chance to play for them this season. They obviously didn't bite. But, T.O. was adamant about wanting to play for the Clips during the 2012-13 NBA season.

"He was at our practice facility this summer," BG said on The Dan Patrick Show earlier today, "begging coaches for a 10-day contract."

If the Clippers were still the Clippers of old, it probably wouldn't have been a terrible idea. At the very least, T.O. would have brought in fans for a week or two. But, this year's Clippers are actually, you know, good. And, while we've heard T.O. is half decent on the basketball court, we've also seen visual evidence of him losing a game of 1-on-1 to the world's smallest streetballer. So, nice try, T.O., but…no. Just no. Go find a different job.
