Things have gotten really desperate for the Eagles this season. How desperate? Well, so desperate that, during their Monday Night Football game against the Saints last night, they ran a play during a kickoff return that involved wide receiver Riley Cooper laying down in the end zone to camouflage himself and then jumping up once the defense shifted to the other side of the field in order to field a lateral pass from his teammate Brandon Boykin.

Unfortunately, the pass went forward instead of backwards so the play got called back after Cooper took it to the house and the Eagles had to start their possession from inside their own 10-yard line. But, even still, it was probably the best play the Eagles ran all night—and it was definitely one of the best trick plays that we've ever seen run during an NFL game. It's just too bad that the Iggles couldn't execute it properly.
