Hard to believe, but use of seat belts is actually on the rise. Wait, what, people care about personal safety? Apparently so.
New state regulations have given Southerners reason to buckle up and their new found interest in basic safety has helped drastically reduce road fatalities on American roads in the past decade. The seat belt, has only been in common car practice since the early 1960s, so we can forgive some people for only know getting acquainted.
