Michael Vick Puts Blame on Media for Team's Struggles

Is Vick really at fault?

None

So why exactly are the Eagles just 3-4 going into Sunday? Is it Michael Vick's eight interceptions this season? How about those five lost fumbles? Andy Reid's coaching perhaps? Minor details, folks. Vick says the true culprit is off-field.

Earlier, the quarterback blamed the media for the team's problems. ''You guys create a lot of turmoil for us, sometimes,'' he said. ''It's cool, man. We just got to battle through it. The quieter you all can be, the easier it is for us to concentrate, focus as individuals as a unit, as a team, as an organization.''

Vick's reasoning sounds solid enough. But it's a bit doubtful if that's a good enough excuse when your starting job—and your head coach's job—is on the line.
