India Responds to Camera Ban at Test Match Against England With Live Blogs Featuring Cartoons

Markers FTW!

After the Board of Control For Cricket in India, or BCCI, implemented a ban on photo-only organizations during a match between England and India, which started on Wednesday in Ahmedabad, the press needed to get creative when figuring out how to present some sort of visual evidence while counteracting the ban. So, what did they come up with? How about substituting photos for cartoons?

It may sound a bit crazy. OK, maybe very ridiculous, but it looks like these drawings will be the only way people get to look at images from the match as "UK agencies and newspapers joined forces with the banned agencies–Getty Images, Action Images and two Indian companies–and refused to publish photographs from the tour."

Hit the thumbs to see the struggle cartoons.
