It's on! Just a little more than a month after refusing to fight Chael Sonnen at UFC 151—and less than a week after admitting that he was second-guessing that decision—Jon "Bones" Jones has agreed to put his light heavyweight belt on the line against Sonnen. UFC President Dana White confirmed the fight earlier today and said that Sonnen will no longer be squaring off against Forrest Griffin at UFC 155 on December 29. Instead, Sonnen will wait until next April when Jones is fully recovered from the elbow injury he suffered against Vitor Belfort late last month to fight him during a pay-per-view event.
In the meantime, Jones and Sonnen will serve as coaches on new episodes of the FX show, The Ultimate Fighter. The show will debut in January. Everybody happy now?
