Tsunami-Tossed Motorcycle Exhibit Opens at Harley-Davidson Museum

Remember this motorcycle?

You might recognize the battered 2004 Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train in the thumbs above from earlier this year. it once belonged to Ikuo Yokoyama, who lost his home and members of his family in the 2011 tsunami, and was found washed ashore in Canada after the storm settled. Yokoyama refused the Harley-Davidson company's offer to fully restore the bike and instead had it preserved as a memorial to those lost in the storm. The exhibit opened at the Harley-Davidson museum two days ago, and can be viewed daily from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
