Designed by London-based architect Andy Martinusing the Thonet furniture company's stem-bent wood technique, developed in the 1930's and originally used in the production of the company's chairs, and featuring Carbon fiber HED H3 wheels to keep total weight low, the Thonet Bent Beech Wood Bike pictured above will run you more than what you probably spent on your car. At $70,000, it's hard to imagine anyone actually taking the exquisitely designed ride out for a casual stroll, but we dare you to not admire it's impressive contours.
