Sure, you don't normally think about things like "what kind of wheelchair would I want if I lost the use of the lower half of my body?" but when you see something like this robotic four-wheel drive wheelchair designed by scientists from the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan, you can't help but feeling like this is what you would want. At least we're sure this is what we'd want. It climbs stairs, does circles, and senses changes in surrounding terrain like steps, ramps, and ditches, adjusting the the legs and seat to keep you comfy as you go on about your business.
