When the Celtics signed Darko Milicic to a new deal recently, a lot of people out there wondered how the Celts would use him next season. Over the weekend, Darko—who is one of the biggest draft busts in NBA history—revealed exactly what his role will be. He plans on being the biggest goon in the league during the 2012-13 NBA season.

"I'll do whatever it takes, whatever I need to do to help this team," he said. "So now, if I have to go kill someone on the court, I'll kill someone on the court."

Kill someone on the court? Whoa. Darko also explained that he's done trying to prove why he deserved to be the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft (ahead of guys like Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh) and said that he just wants to be an asset in Boston. But, damn. Is goon-like behavior really the best way to do that? Guess we'll see if he ever manages to get off the bench.
