The NBA's anti-flopping rule simply isn't enough for Jeff Van Gundy. Yeah, those players that do flop could receive anywhere from a hefty fine to a suspension, but that is still not a suitable penalty for Jeff. Instead, the former coach would like to implement a Hester Prynne-like penalty. By placing a "flopping 'F' on their uniform," Van Gundy believes that this punishment reminiscent of "The Scarlet Letter" would make the league fair.
Interesting suggestion, Jeff. If this were to come into existence, who do you think would be the Jerry West of the NBA flop logo?
