Isn't that what you're supposed to do?

Greg Oden tailgating at Indiana State's Homecoming Game and getting sauced shouldn't be a big deal, right? Well, it wouldn't be if he didn't tell Grantland.com in March that he had a drinking problem. Check his exact quote:

"When I played well, I'd drink to celebrate. And when I played poorly, I'd drink to forget. That second year in Portland I pretty much became an alcoholic."

From the looks of the pictures he doesn't seem to be shit-faced, but maybe those were taken before the tweets? Anyway, we hope Greg has his problem under control. We don't want him to have to battle alcoholism on top of everything else he's dealing with. It's pretty cool that he's willing to chop it up with the common folk every now and again.

And not for nothing, Greg Oden knows how to party.
