It's probably pretty stressful to be the head coach of an SEC football team. With all the top-tier talent in that conference, every single game is like a playoff game. So, SEC coaches look like they've got the weight of the world on their shoulders during press conferences. Well, most SEC coaches.
During a press conference yesterday, Arkansas coach John L. Smith decided to have a little fun when he realized that one of the Razorbacks regular beat writers hadn't arrived on time. So, he prank-called the guy and told him that he'd better hustle on down before he missed the whole thing.
"Where are you?" he said. "Dollar waiting on a dime, sweetheart. Get here."
Awesome. Then again, maybe this is just what happens when you kick off your season against Jacksonville State.
