Dirk Nowitzki might not be ranked in the top 10 of ESPN's just-released NBA player rankings. But, when you're about to become the first NBA player to go to outer space, who really cares?!?
Er, okay. So, obviously, Dirk himself isn't going. But, in about an hour, Dirk's bobbleheadwill be making the trek to space courtesy of the Mavericks marketing department (Sidebar: We'd love to see a video of the Mavs employee who presented this idea at a meeting, ha).
