Before you throw your arms up in the air, or your iPhone, realize that the new Lightning adaptor kills the iPod out functionality only. This means that, although you'll still be able to listen to music, any mirrored screen capability or video on your new iPhone 5 is not going to work. The analog video signal required to do this doesn't translate through the adaptor. We're sure it'll only be a matter of time before BMW figures out the necessary fix.
