The LEGO company has been one of the most consistently awesome companies we've ever encountered, managing to get our attention with every fan-made, scale LEGO model of a vehicle produced. Continuing in this vain, the company has recently announced the production of a movie (to be titled, obviously enough, LEGO: The Motion Picture) and has started a design contest to help populate the film with fan-made vehicles.
