Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips has gained a reputation for getting underneath the skin of opposing players. He's not afraid to express his emotions on the baseball field and, as a result, he's had more than a few opposing players come after him, both verbally and physically. But, this is just ridiculous. According to a tweet that Phillips sent out last night, he was the victim of a racist remark made by a Pittsburgh Pirates player during a Pirates/Reds game last night.

#RealTalk... Not really surprised by what I heard come outta another player's mouth tonite but DAMN... Still PISSED bout that $h¡+!! #Racism

So, who actually made the comment? Well, Phillips has (so far) refused to say. But, he did reportedly bring it up to an MLB official, so we don't expect this to be the end of it. Stay tuned.
