Virginia Tech lives in a land of make believe. A land where they expect people outside of their campus to know that a Hokie is some weird nickname for a turkey. So, they figured they'd keep on with that fantasy theme and make believe their new helmet is awesome.
The Virginia Tech Hokies will be rocking the helmet pictured above during their home "White Out" games this season. The first team to see these babies are Austin Peay when they face-off on September 8. They'll also be wearing camouflaged jerseys vs. Bowling Green. We can't wait to see how those will fare, especially after they approved that turkey foot logo.
