The Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ are both extremely well engineered sports cars, but they both come with Michelin Premacy tires as standard. These are low rolling resistance tires meant for hybrids looking to maximize fuel economy at the expense of everything else, not sticky performance tires. We get it; Subaru and Toyota wanted to make it possible to thrash the car at the limit without committing a felony, so they intentionally reduced the available grip

If one wants to take his car to the track though, those things have got to go.
