David Beckham may be reduced to playing in the soccer provinces (i.e. the US), but he still manages to impress on occasion. Just before the half in last night's CONCACAF Champion's League match between Becks' LA Galaxy and the Salvadorian club Isidro Metapan, Beckham took a corner kick that found its way into the back of the net. Sure, it was helped along by some inept work by goalkeeper Fidel Mondragon, but it appears as though Beckham's kick was headed in had not the keeper made a play on it. At any rate, another nifty piece of shotmaking by one of the most watchable soccer players of this generation.
